January 2014 I opened a new affordable studio in the heart of Nijmegen. Six months later I went to London with a new friend: she was one of the students who had helped me refurbishing. The studio and the new friend are just two of the magnificent things the year brought me. They’re also among the biggest, easy to recall and to remember.

For the last week of the year I invite you to make a list: collect the happy events of 2014. Create a list. As soon as something pops to mind, write it down.

Or finish the sentence: “2014 was the year in which: ”
Record the look and feel of the year but focus on the positive.

Claim this special time around Christmas to look back and savor all the good.
